Key Qualifications:

• Active Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Ability to support a variety of disabilities and adapt instruction accordingly
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Willingness to work onsite, Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day
• Comfort participating in interviews via ZOOM or in-person

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ IEPs
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulations
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom climate where all students feel supported
• Communicate regularly with families and staff to ensure shared goals for student success
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
